The week in review...Aug 6 thru Aug 13th, 2010

Big week of firsts! Yeah, he laughed for the first time last week, but this week I caught his laughter on video!

For the first time in over a month, he's sleeping through the night....again! He goes down on his own between 9-10pm and sleeps straight until 5-6am...around that time he gets cranky because of gas, so I breastfeed on my side and we stay in bed until 7 or 8am.

He can almost hold up his head, he's really behind on this. He's 3 months old, adjusted, and should be holding it up...but he's doing so much better.

Today he put weight on his arms for the first time! Of course I had to help, I propped him like that, but he maintained that position for a little while.

On Friday, he just felt like posing for many 'posed' pictures...

We love his eyes! Hope they stay this lovely shade of blue and green!

He now smiles all the time and laughs almost daily! Not sure what's so funny though....he seems to think my singing is funny.....Hmmmf!

He really grabs onto his 'links' now and loves to play with them. This week he started to nap...thank God....and he does so in the pack-n-play or the swing, two places he never dared to rest before.

His baptism outfit arrived! And as I knew it would be, it's way too large, but it's the smallest size they had. He has a month to grow into it some.

He appears to have not grown much in length to me, but is plumping some now. He will see a GI Specialist at Dayton Children's next week and he'll be weighed then. We visited the place he called home for the first month of his life this week for feeding therapy. All is well, and he got to ride in a wagon!

He chit-chats all the time these days. He can sit and play with links or suck on his fingers for longer chunks of time now.

My LLL meeting went well, except the AC wasn't working and it was 102929 degrees inside. William and I attended a baptism party for Corinne at Heather's house, William got to be around other babies close to his age. We went to her house again for a play date later in the week.

On Saturday he and I spent a day together, just us, hanging out. We went to a few shops and then the mall for a few hours. I bought him this hat at Old Navy, it has ears!

He sometimes holds up his own bottle!

He can now roll from his back to his belly! He loves to sleep in this position now
